Movie Clips: Clash of the Titans

Check them out:

Movie Trailer: The Expendables

I'll be honest, this movie doesn't look like the greatest film of all time. But considering my love for action films and how awesome Stallone's recent Rocky Balboa and Rambo were, I definitely am in.

Evil Dead: 60 second claymation

This was too awesome not to share.

Evil Dead done in 60 seconds with CLAY - 2010 from Lee Hardcastle on Vimeo.

Movie Trailer: Knight and Day

A new trailer has hit the web and it makes me even more excited to see the film. The movie looks funny and looks as though it is packed with action. Plus, from the director of Cop Land, Walk the Line, and 3:10 to Yuma, how could this not be good?

Children Perfom Scarface on Stage

Though I do love classic films, and it is pretty cute having children re-enact a Brian De Palma masterpiece, I just don't know that this is the right thing to do. Possibly, even an Epic Fail moment on the schools part.

EMBED-Scarface School Play - Watch more free videos

Kudos, to the idea. However, I think this would have been more appropriate for a junior high or high school institution. What about you? Are these kids too young for the material at hand?

Movie Trailer: The Losers

This trailer isn't new being that the movie comes out soon. But I hadn't seen a trailer for it until just now. On the surface it looks . . . well in between. It looks like a lot of fun, but at the same time the story seems a little thin.

The trailer seems to give too much away and when a trailer does that it usually means there isn't much more to the movie than what is all ready been displayed.

I think I'll wait for DVD. Thoughts?

Movie Trailer: Scott Pilgrim vs. The World

I have to say I'm really excited about this one. I've been a fan of the comics for some time now, and I really have yet to see a film starring Michael Cera I didn't like. The comic series, Scott Pilgrim vs. The World, is about 23-year-old Canadian Scott Pilgrim (Cera), a slacker, hero, and part-time bassist who is living in Toronto and plays bass guitar in the band "Sex Bob-Omb." He falls in love with American delivery girl Ramona V. Flowers, but must defeat her seven "evil exes" in order to date her.

Unforunately it seems NBC Universal is for the time being blocking the clip from being hosted on Youtube, so you'll have to click HERE to see the official trailer on the website.

Lady Gaga Telephone Parody

The singing in this borderlines horrible. But the video does do a job at poking fun of the original Telephone music video for it's product placement and the context of Beyonce being in it.

Don't get me wrong. I do enjoy the original video as well as the song. But this is hilarious.

I love the Silence of the Lambs reference.

Movie Poster: Twilight Saga: Eclipse

Following the DVD release of Twilight: New Moon plus the trailer for Eclipse and the behind the scenes footage, Summit Entertainment has also released the first of their poster campaign for the film.

For those that know the story line, it is no surprise that Bella is wedged between both Edward and Jacob. I am interested to see how well this movie plays out over the summer. The Harry Potter films originally started out as fall releases but then moved to summer. And because so there was a huge increase in box office revenue. Like it or not, Summit Entertainment plans to release these film and because they have such a large fan base they will make money.

Movie Trailer: Predators

This movie is looking awesome and even if it is only a hair better than the previous two AVP outings than this film will be amazing.

The Making of Grayson

Most of us have all seen John Fioella's short film Grayson, a fan made trailer about Dick Grayson returning to Robin after the death of Batman. It has been floating around the Internet since it's creation in 2004, and to have missed it would have been a great feat.

The magic behind Fioella's short film is that it isn't a short film at all, it is a movie trailer to something bigger and better, and also something we may never see because of copyright issues.

To accompany the Grayson trailer, Fioella has also released three making of doc's that reveal the art behind the trailer.

As an aspiring independent filmmaker, I saw these to be a wonderful look at how Fioella was able to create a short film with the look of a $100 million dollar budget.

I can't say that every idea Fioella had was well played out. He claims that Grayon cost him up to $18,000 to make. Unfortunately, in the world of independent n0-budget films, he could have filmed a feature for that cost. Following by Christopher Nolan and El Mariachi by Robert Rodriquez each cost almost 1/3 the price tag Fioella paid for Grayson. But I guess, as they say, the proof is in the pudding.

If you are a fan of the fake trailer, or even an independent filmmaker, take a look behind the scenes of Grayson. Like Robert Rodriquez's Rebel Without a Crew, these behind the scene's videos are a tutorial on all the little tricks that can be pulled off the create the illusion of a film with a multi-million dollar budget. Hopefully, you will find these as fascinating and inspiring as I did.

Movie Trailer: Prince of Persia

I love the Pirates of the Carribean movies, and seeing this trailer gives me the same feelings I'd get when I saw those. I wasn't so sure about Jake G. to begin with in the titular role, but the more I see, the more I approve!

What do you think? Does Prince of Persia look exciting or what?
